What you are actually getting
Your numbers stay in your browser
The preview math runs on your device. Nothing is uploaded until you choose to save or download.
We refuse to make fake stubs
QuickStub is for income you actually earned. Checkout asks you to attest to that, and our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits misrepresenting income.
To-the-cent math, with year-to-date
Gross, deductions and net are computed to the cent and year-to-date carries forward automatically. Tax figures are labelled as estimates, because that is what they are.
Eight languages, including right-to-left
English, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Russian, Chinese and Japanese — in the interface and on the document itself.
Credits never expire
Buy a pack when you need one. Whatever you do not use is still there next year.
A refund policy written in plain words
Short enough to read before you buy, not after.
Read the refund policy
Three steps, about thirty seconds
Not a wizard: every step stays open, and the live document never leaves the screen.
- 1
Who is getting paid
Pick the classification — 1099 contractor, W-2 employee or owner's draw — then the pay period, the gross and the names. Five fields, not twenty.
- 2
Pick a style
Choose from 30 templates and add your logo. The document redraws instantly, so you see the finished layout before you commit to anything.
- 3
Download the clean PDF
The watermarked preview is free, always. $2.99 removes the watermark and gives you a print-ready PDF.
Four ways people use it
Pick the one that sounds like you — the generator opens already configured for it.
1099 contractors and gig workers
A clean stub that matches what you actually billed.
1099 income shows a self-employment tax estimate of 15.3% of net earnings and nothing withheld — because nothing is.
Self-employed and single-member LLCs
A draw record that pairs with your Schedule C.
Owner's draws are distributions, not wages, so there is no FICA line and no phantom withholding on the document.
S-corp owners paying themselves a salary
Wages and distributions on separate, labelled lines.
Your reasonable-compensation wage record stays consistent with your W-2, and a distribution never gets mislabelled as salary.
Proof of income, needed today
A clean income summary to pair with your tax return.
We do not guarantee that any landlord or lender will accept a self-prepared document. Send it alongside your tax return and bank statements.
30 templates, every one previewable free
Thirty distinct designs — each with its own layout, palette and typography, not the same stub in a new color. Preview any of them live before you pay.
Tap a design to open the generator with it already selected.

Work out take-home pay from an hourly rate or a salary, with federal and state figures shown as estimates. Everything runs in your own browser.
1099 self-employment tax estimator
Estimate Social Security and Medicare tax on 1099 net earnings, plus the deductible half. It covers self-employment tax only, not a whole tax return.
Year-to-date paystub calculator
Add one pay period to your year-to-date gross, taxes, deductions and net pay, and see a warning when the running totals no longer agree with each other.
Pay period calendar
Build a weekly, biweekly, semimonthly or monthly pay schedule and move a payday that lands on a weekend. It is scheduling help, not legal advice.
Proof of income documents checklist
Build a printable list of the income records to gather for a rental, a loan or any request to show income. Requirements vary and acceptance is not guaranteed.
Past pay period record planner
Sequence the dates and year-to-date totals of pay periods you have already been paid for, one record at a time. Every figure stays an estimate you check.
Every result is an estimate. Check it against your own records before you rely on it.
Pay once, or not at all
The watermarked preview costs nothing, with no account and no time limit. You pay only for the clean PDF, and only when you want one.
- Every template and all eight languages are included with every plan.
- Credits never expire, and there is no subscription unless you want one.
- Lifetime is one payment of $99.99: no renewal, up to 300 clean PDFs in each 12-month window, for as long as the service and your account are supported. It costs less than renewing the annual plan from year 3.
Single stubs elsewhere ran $3.99 to $11.99 when we last checked, in August 2026.
Competitor prices change. We recheck each quarter and date the claim — verify on the vendor's own site before you rely on it.
The questions that actually matter
Is this legal?
Documenting income you actually earned is legal. Inflating or fabricating income is not, and our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits it — every checkout includes an attestation that the numbers are real. A QuickStub document is a payment record you prepare yourself: not employer-issued, not from a payroll system, and not a tax filing.
Will a landlord or lender accept it?
We do not guarantee acceptance, and you should not trust a site that does. The strongest application pairs a clean period-level income summary with the evidence behind it — your tax return and your bank statements.
Are the tax numbers real?
They are estimates, and the document says so. Self-employment tax on 1099 income is shown as an estimate of 15.3% of net earnings; W-2 federal and state withholding lines are illustrative. Use your tax return or your accountant's figures when you file.
What is free, and what costs money?
Building and previewing a complete stub is free, with no account and no card — the watermark is the only difference. $2.99 removes it and gives you a print-ready PDF. Packs cost less per stub, and the credits never expire.
